If you have many people sending you messages, it’s hard to scroll through your messages because, if one person sent you 50 messages, they don’t roll up under that one person, they show as 50 individual messages making it difficult to see anyone else’s. And, if you want to clean up your inbox, you have to press delete 50 times!!!

My feeling is they prod members so they msg you till you spend $$( renew) was then don’t anymore. I mean why has the well suddenly dried up

Spend have my time writing messages that go no where because they are not paid members, and here I am thinking no one is interested in me!
Why do free members have so much freedom to fill my inbox with like everyday, yet they can go no further. This is extremely frustrating for me when I have paid to communicate and I cannot.

When you sign up for a free account, they send you a lot of fake likes so you will be a paying member. I signed up for only one month and they automatically charged my credit card once the month was over. There was no automatic renewal turned on.

I am not impressed with this site. I am a paid member, but find that even paid members have to pay more for some options. Also, the automatic messages are both ridiculous and annoying. The even tag on auto messages when you write your own sometimes. This makes no sense to me. As well, the app works poorly and takes forever to navigate. I will not renew, and am sorry I signed up in the first place.And as an add on, they want you to put a nickname with your review, and everyone you try is “taken”

Using this app is much like rubbing a cheese grater against ones forehead. Except that actually sounds more enjoyable then using this app.
I would rather be single then continuing to use Our Time. My time is regrettably now lost forever because of this. It’s Horse dodo (I would swear but I don’t want this taken down for profanity, just know I meant the real swear here, you know it, we’re all thinking it now)
God forbid you try to cancel your subscription. You can’t do it yourself as there is always an “issue” either connecting to the App Store or trying to email them through their app. You struggle for months trying to do it yourself as the app continues to take your money to place in a Scrooge McDuck money bin where they will laugh maniacally at your frustration and loneliness (I’m guessing the second part there but it seems very on brand for them)
They don’t care about you, they don’t even care about this app, stay clear. Go fudge yourself Our Time

I purchased a one month subscription. In that month my account was hacked twice and I contacted them each time. I asked for my subscription not to be renewed. I was told that it would not renew after it finished on May 28. But now I keep getting notifications from my apple account saying that they have tried to renew. I sent them another message. Stating I do not want to renew. Got a generic message telling me to open icon and push this and that to cancel the renewal. Since I removed the icon I can not do this. In general a very bad experience

The trouble is, I would have to pay for the service just so i could read the message from someone who was perhaps interested. Bait and switch at its best. I rarely comment on or review apps. But this one is so poorly designed that I wanted to give others a heads up. There is no communication from the developers of this app to let us know what they are doing to fix outstanding issues. For example your inbox will show “new” messages that have already been read. New matches are shown over and over on looping repeat. I don’t know what else to say other than it’s bad. And I feel bad for writing this but the developers are silent and it doesn’t feel right that end users are unaware of what’s happening with the app. Especially since we’ve forked over money/subscriptions to the company. Just disappointed I guess.

I have received messages for other people both through the app and through my email. I contacted customer service who although responded promptly did nothing to rectify the situation. I have no confidence that my personal information was shared with others.

There's a lot of issues with this app (and the website).
- apparently (based on what people who have viewed me have told me) THE SITE TELLS OTHERS THAT YOU'VE VIEWED THEIR PROFILE, EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVEN'T!!
- you can't edit your profile in the app - you have to go to the site instead.
- you can't select an album from which to upload photos.
- you can't rearrange photos.
- viewed messages, views, etc. sometimes don't show as viewed (persistently show as unread, even though you read them).
- you can't access a conversation from within a profile. You have to go to messages and then try to find the conversation with that person.
- can't zoom in on photos.
- the search filter doesn't work correctly. ex; it doesn't restrict to selected age range very well. When I say 49 to 62 - I mean 49 to 62!! Not 45! ... Not 67!
- the search filter's "sort" doesn't actually work. ex; sort by distance doesn't work at all. "New members" sort shows old members mixed in. Sort by activity, shows people who I know haven't been on in ages. And why is there a "My Default" sort, when you can't actually set your default??
- it would be nice if the sort could be restricted to within a specified distance.
- your profile gets pushed to users across the country and even all of North America. Why? It would be nice to restrict that.
- "Today's Matches" always says "New", even after you viewed them.
Edit:
It's been a year and none of the updates have fixed ANY of the above, but it does create more problems. Now they've changed the one word quiz answers into sentences, which makes them far more time consuming to read. This company is run by idiots.
