The interface is brutal. Option info like phone number is actually not optional for parking. Also, the app requires money to be deposited on account to actually buy parking. Why doesn’t it just charge your card whenever you park somewhere? So weird.

What’s up with top ups for an account? Instead of doing a preauth then charging what was actually used.

No notifications for parking a friend?
While I do get notifications for parking my vehicle, I never seem to get them when using the Park a Friend option.

No option of time you would like to purchase
The app makes you use all your account funds and does not give you the option of purchasing parking by time. If you forget to end your session it takes all your money and no refund is given. They have no issue with profiting from your honest mistake.

Money Scam- DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP
This app is extremely faulty, and I’ve had several issues where it withdraws funds from my credit card that I have not authorized. They cleverly make you authorize $25 that you won’t fully use for parking, because you can’t set a time limit to when the parking ends. If I don’t want to pay $25, don’t force me to. Don’t bother asking for your money back afterwards because all they will do is put a credit back into your account for their faulty app’s mistake, FORCING you to keep using their parking stalls, and continue to tack on extra charges to your card. You’re literal scammers and so are your app developers. proof of it is the fact that you pre-authorized an extra $25 on a credit to my account (that I did NOT authorize) on top of a credit I had for $5.62 already on my account, RIGHT AFTER I paid for a $3 parking session. And you will not refund me the $25 that’s sitting in my account.
for your own sake, if you have to use this app to pay, DON’T USE IT AND PARK SOMEWHERE ELSE. If you absolutely must use this app and cannot access an outdated parking machine near your car, do the pay per use and keep track of your time manually. Otherwise, they’ll make you look stupid, making you think you don’t know how to use their app.
As a note, I rarely review anything, but this is the worst service experience I have ever received in my life, from app, to customer service, to general parking amenities. I’m embarrassed to have such a company exist in downtown Calgary.

Credit card only payment option
Should be able to top up your account using debit MasterCard as well but only allows visa debit?! Not sure why that is. Was hoping this app would help for parking as I do not have access to a credit car and the machines don’t accept debit master card.

Used to be better
The app itself is great. Easy and quick. I would like it to remember credit card info rather than reentering it all the time.
The app was far better when it texted a notification of time running out. The banner type notification is just short of useless.

Better to text, payment process is PAINFUL
Hire a proven award winning app building company or consultant to make it better.
Texting work better: text to 77587 and write ‘start’ with the zone number to start and then ‘stop’ zone number to stop. Works every time.
This app and the old one have always been glitchy. At least now you can put funds in the account through the app, but that process is archaic for 2019 as each time you have enter all the info for where the receipt goes and all the info for the card holder instead of keeping the card on file or even using Apple Pay.
Either the app builder is trying to save pennies or they have the ‘smartest’ guy in the room complex - make it easier for your clients to pay.

Frustrating App
When paying for street it works great but I can’t get the app to display the ability for visitor parking. The support for this issues has been lacking. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it to see if that would work and nope. I got a few emails from CPA support then they ghosted me. Would like to get this app working properly.

Useful - needs a few tweaks
This would be better if it didn’t pre-populate a default parking code. It takes too long for GPS to find the zone so I usually click the button and then enter the code but I always have to delete a default zone (which is neither nearby or a place I’ve ever been). There are also too many confirm steps. If I type 4399 I get a warning to make sure I picked the right code and then another confirmation request that it worked. Same when cancelling.
Edit: developer reached out - looks like number confirmation will stay as it’s a point of frequent client mistakes. Makes sense but too bad - so many steps to set up a session!

I like the fact there is an app to quickly do visitor parking from my phone. It would be super helpful if they added a feature to remember past plates or even set up a regular repeating option!!

Got a Parking Ticket - Dont Trust
Using this app got me a parking ticket. It allowed me to pay a full day price ($28), but according to the ticket I was in short term. A coworker parked in the same lot as me, and paid the same amount and didn’t get a ticket. Only difference was they paid through the machine. I tried to appeal the ticket but was rejected since the only history that the app has is what you paid. You can’t trust this app

It’s meh... not great but not horrible
I mean come on. 25$ min. I get that it covers a whole day parking. But now think if a person is not there all day. Let alone staying in the city. It’s just a waste when all the person needed was 2$ to park or whatever. ( but I know there will be a reply sayin to just use the machine... ok... but no one sees the inconvenience of this???) having an app and machine???? Just make the app more versatile and get rid of the machines.)
Anyways. Reason I’m writing a review is because I believe the app is broken. When you choose the zone or type in the zone number. No info comes up about the Zone, area, how much per hour etc... it is just blank squares where information should be.
it is a little bit frustrating. Please fix.

Not all images load
This app did work previously and served it’s purpose. Latest version does not seem to be compatible with my latest version of OS. Images on buttons and drop downs to do not load. Have to guess what you are selecting. My payment information will not save even though it had been on there since I downloaded it over a year ago. Kept telling me it wasn’t accepting my credit card info when I went to reload funds but meanwhile charged me anyhow.

The encroachment of this app and paid parking into every quadrant if the city and with rates equal to Manhattan the CPA is out of control and needs dismantling. It so no more than a tax!!!

Park and Run! Never Late!
I love being able to park and run! I’m never late for appointments. No hassle with machines. I just sign in; no fussing for coins or digging out my visa in the cold weather. Couldn’t be happier with the convenience of this program.

Time pays
Parkplus only allows paying for maximum time. When I an parking on zone 9061 in the morning , I don't have the option to only pay until 6 pm. This exists on the Parkplus machines.

Welcome to the 20th century
This Apps functionality is so limited it is incredibly frustrating. We are two people with two shared cars; one day I might need to park one car, the next the other. But we have to share the same account because we cannot register the two cars on two accounts. Thus only one of us can use the app each day. That’s incredibly limiting.

Mostly works
Can’t delete old credit cards. Touching delete button does nothing. Bit of a problem for me as my two slots for CCs are used up on now invalid CC numbers.
Autofill on location # is useless as it always picks the wrong number.
Cant’t edit payment methods on the website. LOL. Can add funds adhoc though. Go figure.
