Fantastic album, from the harmonica solos to Sophie's incredibly silky, jazzy voice. As a die hard beatle's fan I was a bit taken aback at first at seeing Till There Was You on the track list but her rendition was superb, almost paralleling the original in so many aspects, another classic done in a brilliant way by Sophie. This talent has no where to go but up

Incredibly beautiful, long awaited and even better than anticipated.
This woman is a natural and somehow manages to make the months (years) of hard work that no doubt went into this recording, sound smooth and effortless. Aside from the exquisiteness of her voice, the arrangements are spectacular.
A star has clearly been born.

Stunning, Sexy, Superb

This album's a major step forward for Sophie Milman - it's the best thing she's done to date, in a career that will take her far. Whether it's the superb sidemen (including luminaries like Randy Brecker and Julian Lage), the arrangements (some by Alan Broadbent) or the very fine audio production, Sophie sounds truly superb. Talent has a lot to do with it, but so does production, careful choice of repertoire and whatever degree of magic is needed to bring great songs like these to life. Standout tracks include "No More Blues" and "Watch What Happens" but it's really hard to choose. Absolute magic!
