Pistol Annies ARE REAL COUNTRY MUSIC!!!!!!!! This IS it!!! This should be played all over main stream Radio rather than that Pop SH**!!!! Let's bring on back some REAL Country Music!!!!!

This is truly fantastic stuff, great sound I cant get enough. Anyone has heard it even those who didnt lile "country" were lovin the vibe and creative deep songs. Highly recommend these ladies. Great album from to back, great for just hanging around the house or sitting out on the deck.

I can't stop listening to this album. The harmonies are awesome. The melodies are outstanding, sometimes fun, but at times they are haunting (Housewife's Prayer). Lemon Drop just keeps playing in my mind and so do the Hell on Heels lyrics. I could go on and on .... let it suffice to say THIS IS THE BEST ALBUM I HAVE HEARD IN A LONG, LONG TIME. I haven't taken the time to pay attention to Beige, it's slower and softer than my usual taste in music ... but I suspect that with a couple of listens it'll be catchy too. I am now 100% a Pistol Annies fan; at least 9 of the 10 songs rock! The lyrics are a lot of fun - so honest and/or humourous! This is the best $10 I ever spent on entertainment! Thank you Pistol Annies!!! ô¿ô Makes me wish I'd been born in the south. ;-)

@ Avtkdindrh - for the extra 9 cents you get the album booklet which makes an awesome insert for the CD and also a bit of info about the ladies. Was worth it to me.. I bought the first song and when the rest became available I chose "complete my album" so I'd have the booklet (sought help from Apple support - which was great). It's a good deal in my opinion; maybe not to everyone, but I am thrilled.

This album contains 10 songs at 0.99$ buying individually it would cost 9.90$, why is the album 9.99$. What a rip.

Overall this album is awkward and plunky much of the time. Some of the songs are really good like "Family Fued" but there a couple of stinkers like "Housewife's Prayer" one of those roll your eyes with disbelief that it made the album kind bad. Both of the other female members don't have the same charisma Miranda has and do not come close to matching her vocals anywhere on this album. I don't understand why Miranda would put this project out right now considering she's got her own album coming soon and the first single which is leaps and bounds better than all the songs on here.

The album isn't terrible its just slow in pace and really doesn't showcase the other girls positively when they are burried everytime Miranda sings a note.

So close to number 1 on itunes! COME ON COUNTRY MUSIC FANS.. buy this album

I heard Hell on Heels for the first time a while ago on a Country Music special on television. Been waiting for this album since!
