This album begins with some very calming rain sounds. I like the variety of rain sounds offered; "Constant and Comforting Rain Shower" is my favourite because it sounds like heavy rain coming down on a tin roof. "Soothing Rain Into a Quiet Pool" is also very nice. Be prepared, however, when tracks 9 and 10 come around. If you've managed to fall into a lovely deep sleep by track 8, you're bound to get jolted awake soon after by the roar of a loud rainstorm, and later, by the frightening booms of thunder. Thus I'd only recommend buying this as background sounds if you want to lounge around reading a book. Otherwise, good luck falling back to sleep after "Powerful Healing Rain With Thunder".
