This soundtrack goes with the movie perfectly and it's like there's a song for each character but it's not obvious. This soundtrack is embodies the way I basically want to live my quirky and weird. LOVE THIS SOUNDTRACK <3 :)

I love this soundtrack because the music fits the movie PERFECTLY and it has a very unique sound that you don't hear much of in movies. My favourite song is Tire Swing =D

This album is a "feel good" album

This is a fanastic album that you can listen to again and again, regardless of if you watch the movie, Juno, or not. Personally, I love both the movie and the soundtrack, but I love the soundtrack for the soundtrack, and if there was just a soundtrack and no movie I'd probably buy it anyways. The thing about music is that it doesn't matter what genre it is, or who the artist is, or whether the singing is good or great or bad or okay so much as the music has to make you feel good. You have to feel a vibe for it...and this album makes me feel happy and relaxed. I think of lazy summer days and jumping of a dock into the water. If that is the kind of thing you are trying to find to listen to, then buy this album.

Juno is one of the best films ever... and I am very picky when it comes to films.
Anyway the best thing about this movie is Ellen Paige, she totally captured the characteristics of Juno and the attitude and the confidence
the second thing has to be the soundtracks which seem to be the perfect fit for the movie. If has a little old feel in it but at the same time modern. it kinda gives you a warm feeling listening too it on a sunny summer day.
a MUST BUY!

I've never even seen the movie, but I really like the song Loose Lips. It's not fair that it's album only. I don't want the whole soundtrack of a movie I've never seen.

This album takes all the wonderful songs from the movie and puts them in one album. God this is a wonderful mix of songs that bring out the movie in so many ways. And you save almost ten dollars if you buy the album not all the songs! This is a wonderful album and makes me feel like im watching the movie. Two thumbs up 10/10 five stars, this album deserves it all!

Ouch.

I've never seen the movie, but I normally listen to soundtracks to get what the movie feels like. This was just horrible. I've read other reviews, they all seem to go on and on about how amazing it is. The lyrics are okayish, but the voices horrible. I'm guessing if you liked the movie, go and buy it. If not, stay away.

Okay these songs are nothing like what i'd listen to on regular terms... but these are really cute songs that almost anyone can relate to. It took a while for me to figure out what the heck they meant in a couple songs... but when you solve out what the metaphors mean... their up there with your favourite songs. I defidently recommend this to silly people that are looking for something new and even a little chuckle.

Juno could be one of the best movies i have ever seen: There is excellent acting and an entertaining script. One of the few things holding it back is the annoyingly twangy mediocre soundtrack. However if you like any one of these songs you will like the rest-they all sound the same!

Man, what an awsome movie! And an awsome soundtrack, too! If you haven't seen Juno, you'll fall in love with it just as much as I did. It was totally different from what I though it was going to be, and I effing loved it! No disappointment, whatsoever! I LOVE YOU JUNO!

I think that the movie is the best I've ever seen, and the soundtrack amazes me. Barry Louis Polisar's voice looks like Bob Dylan's. It's really beautiful to see how not-known music can be so good. I think the cutest song of the album is Anyone Else But You by Michael Cera and Ellen Page. It's really cute. Well, if you didn't see Juno yet, rent it or buy the DVD!

Quite awesome, thoroughly enjoyed

The movie Juno was a feel-good movie with a great storyline, great laughs, and an amazing soundtrack. Anyone who likes to laugh through their tears at movies needs to see this one. The sountrack was the best I've heard so far. No other music could have better suited the movie. The lull of Kimya Dawson's voice was heartwarming, and more than enough to make me rate the movie and its music with five stars.

Amazing!

The music is very refreshing, after listening to all of the "good" music that is coming out these days...they make you think back to the movie and how good you felt while watching it. And when you feel a bit down and out they warm you up a little bit...
Amazing!

This album is one of the best overall soundtracks in recent years. Except for the "Vampire Song," the entire album is great. I can understand people not liking it as it is a bit of an acquired taste, but I think it's great for the movie and for listening to. The 50 second songs aren't even that annoying. Great work, but if you want to buy the album, I would sample it first as you personally might not care for it.

Brilliant Soundtrack

Much like Garden State or Great Expectations, the soundtrack is unique and brilliantly paired with the movie, but also incredible on its own. The creepy Sonic Youth track is even more stark against the opening can't help but smile children's song by Barry Poliser and childishly sung Velvet Undergound inclusion. Full credit to Kimya Dawson who defines and steals the album, as well as much of the movie, with her honest wit. Some listeners may like the lo-fi indie sound of some songs, while other audiophiles may find them lacking.

Juno is a terrific movie. If you haven't seen it, do so now. The script is great but it's Ellen Page who sells the movie. She's my favorite actress in Holywood today.
The music fits the film perfect. Unfortunetely, outside of the film, the music falls short. Kimya Dawson and The Moldy Peaches are cute at first but their songs get old - fast. Sonic Youth's song is pretty bad, and I never liked Buddy Holly's voice. It really annoys me.
On the other hand, Cat Power gives a beautiful performance in "Sea of Love," and "All The Young Dudes" by Mott the Hoople is very heart-warming. "Expectations" is another great song.
But, the replay value is really poor. It'll be a nice experience once or twice, but after that I doubt you'll want to re-listen to them. At least, for a long time.
So I'll be generous and give the soundtrack a 3 out of 5, just because it's a really good fit for the amazing movie.

Loved the movie... love the soundtrack.

It doesn't happen often, but when a movie prompts you to get out of the theatre, walk over to a record store and buy the soundtrack to the movie you just saw, that usually is a good sign about the music. Full of indie and rock songs that perfectly complement a movie about teen angst and growing up. There isn't much to be said, the music is charming and catchy and it's definitely worth buying.

the movie should be seen first. It makes it all relevant and meaningful. Youth, love, and spirit are the hallmarks of the movie and the soundtrack brings you back to the beauty of their experience. Touching and heartfelt.

I really like the majority of the songs here, but I don't think the album flows all that well. The Kimya Dawson tracks kill it for me. I get it; she's DIY, which is cool. I just don't think her songs here work at all outside of the context of the movie (which was great). Standout tracks are All The Young Dudes and Expectations.
