Best part of the movie...

...which included Natalie Portman, so it's saying a lot! Actually, the movie was good, but the soundtrack seemed to make those slow-going moments more bearable. Songs are ambient, and poignant. Awesome tracks by Coldplay, Zero 7 (Can't get enough of this one which also appeared on an episode of "House"), and The Shins. If you're looking to build your knowledge of top 40 chart hits, leave this one alone. If you just want to put on one CD and listen straight through, it's the best $9.99 you've spent on a compilation this year.

The perfect listen

Great movie, great soundtrack. I cant get enough of this one, truly an album you can play start to finish over and over and never be bored. I would love to write more, but ill let the songs do the talking.

Great soundtrack

Great sondtrack. Movie not so much. A movie can be "artsy", but if it boring it is boring.

Incredible.... essential even without the movie.... but not recommended

this soundtrack is almost as good as the movie. It's so good you could almost buy the album, rather than watch the movie. Of course you wouldn't be smart if you did that, as you would indeed be missing out. He won a grammy for this and the movie is is just as good.
Amazing movie and harmonious soundtrack
Thanks Zack

What a Soundtrack
Every song in this album sends you back into the movie
reminding you of those "goosebump" scenes
that make you smile
this is my favourite soundtrack from song one to the end
personal favourite - new slang, in the waiting line, blue eyes, lebanese blonde

Best movie soundtrack ever!

This is an amazing soundtrack by Zach Braff that anyone can enjoy whether they have seen the movie or not. Garden State is a great movie though, so I suggest you check it out if you haven't seen it! This soundtrack introduced me to the Shins, who I'd heard of but never listened to their music. Turns out I love them, especially the song New Slang which WILL change your life (wink wink). Really all the songs are easy to listen to, but some of my other favourites are Don't Panic, In the Waiting Line, Blue Eyes, Let Go, and Winding Road. Hope you enjoy this gem of a soundtrack as much as I did!
