Lover is my favourite pop album of hers, only closely followed by Reputation and 1989. People may complain about its “childish-ness” but this absolute celebration of all kinds of love is exactly why I was drawn to this album. Idc what anyone say, there is not a SINGLE skip in any of the 18 tracks

Love this album. Super upbeat pop songs. Stellar lyrics. Cruel Summer, Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince and Death By A Thousand Cuts are standouts!

Just like reputation she has managed to write beautiful lyrical songs with emotion but you make guess it’s all love songs oh no. I love Lover more and more every single day because it helped me when I was in a really low place. I couldn’t be the person I am today without this album. Everyone says it’s so different from reputation, however I think that the two can not be compared because I see them as one story. Without reputation, Taylor never would have gotten to experience Lover. She is the strongest woman I know and I love her more than anything. Normally I would buy 1 or 2 songs from each Taylor Swift album. In this case, I would have bought “You Need to Calm Down” for its positive message and change of tone from previous Swift snakey fight songs.

Taylor Swift, however, paid the tuition for a Canadian student in Ontario, a province governed by a Progressive Conservative party with a history of being anti-education. I guess as a patriotic Canadian, I have to support those who support us... Pre-ordered Taylor Swift’s entire album. 🇨🇦
