Not my kind of music, but I understand why people do like it. It’s achieving what it’s trying to do. He has a really nice grain to his voice. It’s really easy listening music. Although, some of the songs are a little simple which makes them boring. Also, a lot of the songs sound kinda the same. But one song that I think is really good that not a lot of people talk about is Over Now. 3*

As an album artist PM makes amazing singles. The difference between the hits on here-which we've all already bought- and the album tracks is epically large. He needs to work way harder on his writing. Lots and lots of filler on here. And some really poor guest spots. Ty Dolla on Psycho is hella weak. Having siad that he is still far and away the most exciting thing out there. Loving the ride.

I applaud Post Malone for making quality songs with wonderful production and lyrics. He was also able to keep a consistent tone throughout the album to not hurt his message. But, in keeping the tone consistent, every song sounds a bit same-y. This generally isn't a bad thing, but in an album of this size it starts to get stale by around track 7. The only songs which give the album variety and "save it" are the singles he released before the album... Unfortunate that there weren't any crazy surprises.
